How To Make Sausage And Egg Breakfast Casserole

 

If you need an easy to make breakfast, this easy sausage and egg breakfast casserole is it!  Prepare it the night before and refrigerate.  Pull it out of the fridge the next morning and bake for 30 – 35 minutes.  This easy sausage and egg breakfast casserole is also cheesy and delicious!

Breakfast Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 6 slices of buttered bread – cubed
  • 1 pound sausage – browned
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese – shredded
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp. dried mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 5 eggs – beaten

 

Directions:

In a 9″ x 13″ casserole dish, layer the cubed buttered bread, then, the browned sausage.

Layer bread cubes and sausage.

Then, top with the shredded cheddar cheese.

    Top with shredded cheese

Mix together the milk, dried mustard, salt, pepper, and beaten eggs.

Mix eggs, milk, mustard, salt, and pepper.

 Pour over the bread cubes, sausage, and shredded cheese.

Refrigerate overnight.

 

Bake at 350° for 30 – 35 minutes.
