Hi, Heather.  You will only need half of the recipe for this pie.   This makes enough for two pies or one double-crust pie. You can freeze the other half for up to 6 months.  No, you do not need to spray or butter the pie dish.  The butter in the crust is enough.  Good luck with your pie!  Merry Christmas!]]></description>
