#1 Air Bake Natural Cookie Sheet – 14 x 12 inch
Any cookie baker will love an Air Bake cookie sheet pan. The aluminum pan features air insulation between two layers. The air insulation prevents the top sheet from overheating which prevents the bottom of the cookies from burning. The one I have is 15.5 x 20 – inches. A dozen cookies bake perfectly on it. (I love it and will never go back to the regular cookie sheet pans.) You will probably want to buy two of these at 14 x 12 – inches.
#2 Solula Professional 18/8 Stainless Steel Small Cookie Scoop
Personally, I think this cookie scoop is the perfect size for cookies. The mouth of the scoop is 1-1/2-inches in diameter. Why would you want a scoop like this for baking cookies? Because using a scoop makes the cookies round, assures the cookies are all the same size, and the cookies bake evenly. My scoop like this ends up making cookies that are about 2-1/4- inches in diameter, like these ►Chocolate Chip Cookies. In the post, you can find a printable recipe for the cookies.
#3 Duralex Lys Stackable 10-Piece Bowl Set Made In France
If you have visited my blog recipes, you have seen my 10-piece mixing bowl set in pictures. This is the most practical set of bowls. The Duralex set has a 5-star rating on Amazon! This set includes 10 nesting bowls, a 3-1/2 quart. 2-1/2 quart, 1-1/2 quart, 1 quart, 1/2 quart, a 10-ounce, 6-ounce, a 4-ounce, 2-ounce, and a 1-ounce. If you have ever been distracted in the middle of a recipe and not remembered if you added an ingredient or not, you will surely see how measuring your ingredients into these bowls in advance of putting your recipe together is a great idea. These have probably saved many of my recipes! A set of these bowls makes a great wedding shower gift.
#4 Wilton Tasty-Fill Mini Cake Pans Set, 4-Piece
I just bought this mini cake pan set! Although I’ve been busy decorating and planning our Halloween party this year, I have plans for these little pans! You can create all kinds of individual filled cakes and desserts with this mini cake pan set.
It will be fun to see the look of surprise on faces when we cut into the cakes!
The pans are made of steel and the non-stick coating makes for easy release and quick cleanup. Check back soon. I’ll have a post on the finished cake.
The pans measure 4 inches in diameter x 1.25 inches (10 cm dia x 3.1 cm) each. There is a total of four pans.
#5 Accuteck 50 lb All-in-One Black Digital Shipping Postal Scale with Adapter
You’ve seen so many chefs on cooking shows who use kitchen scales. Do you know that flour packs and packed flour can make a huge difference in a recipe? Although using a spoon to fill your measuring cup helps with this, for perfect accuracy, you need a scale.
This last year, I finally broke down and bought a scale. I just wasn’t sure which one to buy. My oldest son had bought this same scale awhile back to use for making pasta. Although this one is not ‘specifically’ for the kitchen, it measures up to 50 – pounds! It measures pounds/ounce, kilogram, and ounces. You can measure the empty cup or bowl, hold that weight, and measure only the liquid or dry ingredient. I like the sleek black look of the scale and have been very happy with it.
#6 OXO Good Grips Measuring Cups with Magnetic Snaps, Stainless Steel
Can you have too many measuring cups? There are three sets of measuring cups in our kitchen. When Dave and I are cooking together, those three get used quickly, and frankly, at times, we could use another!
You’ve seen some measuring cups that make it difficult to run a knife over the rim to level the ingredients. This set is not one of those. It’s designed to make leveling easy for great accuracy. Also, it’s been crafted to be one piece, not soldered.
#7 Measuring Spoons: U-Taste 18/8 Stainless Steel Measuring Spoons Set of 9
This set of measuring spoons includes 1/16 tsp, 1/8 tsp, 1/4 tsp, 1/3 tsp, 1/2 tsp, 3/4 tsp, 1 tsp, 1/2 Tbsp & 1 Tbsp.
If you have ever halved a recipe, you have had to compute 1/2 tablespoon. A Tablespoon is equal to 3 teaspoons. So, 1/2 Tablespoon equals 1-1/2 teaspoons. Although it keeps my mind active, it’s handy to have a 1/2 Tablespoon measure. Yes, and 3/4 teaspoon, you need to use the 1/2 teaspoon and the 1/4 teaspoon spoons. This set actually has a 3/4 teaspoon measure! Your baker will love this set!
#8 Antrader 201 Stainless Steel 4-Piece Mini Measuring Spoon Set- Dash Pinch Smidgen Nip
Have you ever used a recipe that calls for a pinch and you just pinched your fingers together in the spice and tossed it into your recipe? Not so accurate, right? I picked up one of these sets one year when I found it while on vacation. It has come in handy many times. Do you know that a nip is equal to 1/64th a teaspoon, a smidgen is a 1/32nd teaspoon, a pinch is 1/16th teaspoon, and a dash is 1/8th teaspoon. The spoons are engraved with the words “smidgen,” “dash,” “pinch,” and “nip”. What baker wouldn’t like this novel set of measuring spoons?
Festive Gift Wrapping Presentation
The items above are relatively inexpensive and a combination of these will make a great gift presented in a festive basket or tin. Don’t just toss them in one of these though! The individual gifts can be wrapped in festive gift wrap and presented nestled on some paper filler in a basket or tin. Any gift that is wrapped nicely makes the gift seem more important. The presentation is everything! Check out my posts on Japanese gift wrap how-to!◄
Although gift bags are easy, they can’t compare to these beautifully wrapped gifts! Japanese gift wrapping is easier than you think! Check out how to make personalized gift tags, too. They’re great for the little kids who can’t read yet.
Big Spender Festive Gifts
#9 KitchenAid Artisan Mini Stand Mixers, 3.5 quart
A KitchenAid Mixer is a gift any baker will love. My mixer is several years old and is used frequently, especially handy for my ► secret to buttercream frosting recipe!
This is a heavy stand mixer with ten speeds and there are ten different attachments available for this mixer! The mixer comes in a variety of colors now. You can choose a color to coordinate with your baker’s kitchen!
#10 Zojirushi Home Bakery 1-Pound-Loaf Programmable Breadmaker
If your favorite baker doesn’t have a bread machine, this is a perfect gift! (Maybe you need one!) Seriously, I bought my Zojirushi bread machine over 25 years ago! It still works and I use it every week! Most of the time, I use the dough setting and then, make rolls or mini loaves of bread. The dough setting makes the perfect dough, just ask the grandkids!
One day they were talking about Auntie Anne’s Pretzels and when I told them we should just make them ourselves, they were amazed! They are pretty impressed with their Grammy’s skills. Yes, you can make pretzel dough in the bread maker, too! The pretzels are delicious…
This newer version of their bread maker has even more capabilities. It’s a gift that is sure to please.

These are great ideas! I love the price range so there is something for every budget!
Thank you, Cherryl. You’re right, there is something for every price range!
That variety of glass mixing bowls is great! I have it, and find them so helpful for just what I need. And I love those “dash” and “pinch” spoons – that’s excellent, especially for people like me that don’t wing it very well. Haha!
Thanks, Alexandra! I cooked and baked for years before buying a set of those mixing bowls. Now, I can’t imagine being without them! The first time I ever saw the dash and pinch spoons, I was on vacation in Savannah. A little shop had them and I couldn’t resist. They do come in handy. Thank you for visiting!
