Each year, I try to come up with new ways to make our Christmas party lots of fun for our kids and grandkids. Here are some easy Christmas ideas the kids will love.
Christmas Mouse Sticker

I found this cute little Christmas mouse in a hole sticker on Amazon. There are other versions, but this is the one that I chose. It made me smile as I thought about putting it on the baseboard close to the Christmas tree this year. The little ones will get a kick out of it, and so will I.
Santa Sleigh Driver License

This authentic-looking Santa Sleigh Driver License popped up on the screen after I added the Christmas mouse sticker to my cart. How funny is this? My plan is to place the license strategically under the Christmas tree as if Santa accidentally dropped it this year.
We usually let the little ones pass out the gifts. Naturally, one of them will discover the license. Imagine the excitement when they find this authentic-looking driver’s license!

Santa’s Watching
For Halloween this year, I created a 5×7-inch plaque for the half-bath. I thought it was hilarious. It read, “Please do not summon demons in the bathroom.” You can find the plaque in this ► Halloween post.

This gave me the idea for a Santa version. With the help of Camva AI, we created this graphic. This one reads, “Wash your hands. Santa’s watching.”
Don’t want to make your own? You can find a cute wooden 5 x 5-inch version ◄ here.
Santa’s Lost Button
Just imagine the reaction of the little ones when they find Santa’s lost button. Their eyes will widen with wonder and disbelief, as if they’ve stumbled upon the most magical treasure.
Excitement will bubble over, and they’ll gather around, whispering theories about how it got there. “Maybe it fell off when Santa was squeezing down the chimney!” one might suggest, eyes twinkling with the thrill of the mystery.

Another might imagine a scenario where Santa, in his haste to deliver presents, brushed against the tree, leaving behind this special token. They’ll hold the button up to the light, examining every detail, as if it holds the secrets of the North Pole itself. In that moment, the spirit of Christmas will shine brighter, a reminder of the holiday season’s magic and mystery.

You may have a red, silver, or gold button that would work for this in your button jar. However, I found this Santa’s lost button on Amazon! How perfect is this? There will be no confusion between this button and an ordinary button.
Money Gift for the Teens
After working at a local bank for many years, I encourage kids to tuck money away in a savings account. You can find many ways in my past posts that make gifting money fun. I don’t know that this version is as fun as some of my other options. However, I’m sure it’s a lot more fun than just handing them a card with money tucked inside.

This decorative box is from Hobby Lobby. It measures 6.25 x 11 x 1.75 inches and is the perfect size for 50 bills, rolled and wrapped in ribbon. The ribbon is from Dollar Tree. It took 3 spools of 18-foot ribbon and some patience to wrap and tie a bow on 50-dollar bills!
Then, I made a card on Canva to include with the box.
Inside, it reads:
Went from store to store looking for just the right gift
But nothing we found gave our spirits a lift.
So, we tied up some cash with a ribbon and bow—
A bundle of cheer for wherever you go.
Unwrap it with joy and don’t hold back a grin—
Cash is the timeless gift that is always on‑trend!
