My Humble Home and Garden is a site showcasing the artistic endeavors of a woman with many years of experience in painting, crafting, cooking, baking, sewing, gardening, and many other forms of artistic expression. This website was created in hopes that you might benefit from some of the things I’ve learned and discovered along life’s way. My goal is to share things I love, things I learn, and the processes used to make them look the best possible, often unexpected, and sometimes out of the norm.

That is my motto. Some people slap things together quickly and, in the end, it looks like it. You have seen those, haven’t you? You won’t see that on this site. There may be fewer posts but, hopefully, quality trumps quantity. You can see the attention to every detail in the pictures on this site. I use very few photos from other photographers and those are indicated in the posts. Almost all are my own photos chronicling the steps and the finished products.
