Easter Bunny Spring Mantel Decor You’ll Love

Easter Bunny Spring Mantel Decor You'll Love

Who can resist an Easter bunny?  This spring mantel decor began with two Easter bunnies we’ve had for several years.  I picked the Easter bunnies up at Hobby Lobby.

The two green arches are an interesting background for the bunny wreath I picked up at Michael’s.

Next, I add two DIY Easter Egg Topiaries.  You can find the step-by-step directions for making these topiaries here. ►Easter Egg Topiaries.

Add Smaller Decorative Items

A metal Easter greetings postcard and a moss-covered bunny sit in front of the background decorative items.  Repeating the pink color of the eggs, I add two clear bottle vases.

At this point, I am pretty happy with the display.  Adding the cube photo holders with vintage Easter pictures seems perfect.  You can find the directions for the Decoupaged cube wire photo holder ◄ here.

Pink Flowers on My Mind

In my head, I can see soft pink peonies and roses tucked in here and there to complete the mantel display.  Where are they?  I went through numerous bins to find them, to no avail.  I slept on it.

The next day, I mentally went back through each of the bins.  As I stood there looking around the room, I spot a clear bag full of flowers and there the pink flowers are in plain sight!  Lol!  At least I finally found them.

Next, I draped wispy greenery across the mantel, behind, and around the topiaries and bunnies.

As I was finishing up tucking the pink peonies and roses here and there, my granddaughter, Sophie, said, “You need to know when to stop.”

I remember giving her this advice before when she was drawing.  It’s good advice.  There are still a few pink flowers in the bag.

Final Touches

Pretty happy with the composition, but the bunny pictures seem to need a background mat, don’t they?  I went through the cardstock stash and found this soft green cardstock.  It seems the perfect border.  Cut to size and glued with just a glue stick, it sets off the bunny print perfectly.  It’s a little detail but it makes a difference.

    1. Hi Debra!
Thank you! The banner is from JOANN Fabric & Craft Store, but I bought it last year. Unfortunately, I don’t believe they have them this year. Thanks for visiting!
