Cheesy Pull Apart Bread Appetizer

Need an easy and delicious appetizer?  Several years ago, I attended a bridal shower and one of the guests brought this hearty cheesy pull apart bread appetizer to the event.  I had never even heard of it before.  It was so cheesy, gooey, delicious and everyone was enjoying it.

I mentioned how good it was and she graciously shared the recipe with me.  She wrote it down on a piece of typing paper.  There wasn’t a title.

Okay, so I actually have changed a few things in this recipe.  The sliced green onions replace the original minced onions.  (We love these!)  The Swiss cheese replaces the cheddar but cheddar would be just as good.  In other words, you can easily tweak this to make your own version.

I’m not sure what they called this but Cheesy Pull Apart Bread Appetizer seemed appropriate.  After all, that is exactly what you do, pull the cheesy bread apart and enjoy!

Melt butter in the microwave or over low heat in a small saucepan on top of the stove.  Add the green onion, mustard, poppy seeds, garlic salt, and Beau Monde and mix well.  (You’ll notice there is no poppy-seed in the measuring cup.  I was sure there was some in the cabinet but there was not!  It still tasted good!)  (We are an Amazon affiliate and may receive a small percentage of any sales through this link at no cost to you.  Thanks for supporting this website!)
